EULAR awarded honorary member- ships this year to six individuals for their long-standing service to the organisation in a variety of positionsand roles.
Leonard Calabrese is vice chair of theCleveland Clinic’s department of rheumaticand immunologic diseases and the co-director of the Center for Vasculitis Careand Research, and serves as director ofthe Cleveland Clinic’s RJ Fasenmyer Center for Clinical Immunology in Cleveland.He has served on task forces for EULARrecommendations and classification anddiagnostic criteria and as a member of theCongress Scientific Programme Committee.
Kazuhiko Yamamoto is an emeritusprofessor at the University of Tokyo andis deputy director of the RIKEN Center forIntegrative Medical Sciences in Tokyo. Hehas served as a member of the CongressScientific Programme Committee, and is aPast President of the Asia Pacific Leagueof Associations for Rheumatology.
Ulf Müller-Ladner is director of thedepartment of rheumatology and clinicalimmunology at Kerckhoff-Klinic in BadNauheim, Germany, and a professor inthe department for internal medicine andrheumatology at Justus-Liebig UniversityGiessen (Germany). He has served formany years as a EULAR officer, recently aschair of the Standing Committee for Clinical Affairs in 2016-2020, as chair of theCongress Abstract Selection Committee in2012-2013, and a member of the CongressScientific Programme Committee in 2009-2015.
Laure Gossec is professor of rheumatology at Pitie-Salpetriere Hospitaland Pierre & Marie Curie University inParis. She has served for many years asa EULAR officer, recently as chair of theStanding Committee for Epidemiology andHealth Research in 2016-2020 and as afounding member of the Emerging EULARNetwork (EMEUNET). She has also hasserved on task forces for EULAR recommendations.
Xavier Mariette is head of the rheuma-

many years as a EULAR officer, recently
as chair of the Standing Committee for
Investigative Rheumatology in 2015-2020.

Nele Caeyers is Communication Manager of ReumaNet in Belgium. She hasserved for many years as a EULAR officer,recently as chair of the Standing Committee of PARE.
